When to arrive
Use the festival's gate time and map, then add time to clear entry and walk to the first stage. For a multi-stage day, arrive before the first must-see set rather than using the headliner's start time as the arrival target.
Transit & the journey home
Jean-Drapeau station on the Yellow line is the primary festival stop. It has two street-level elevators, but the park warns that the other Yellow-line stations do not currently provide platform-level elevator access, so wheelchair routes need a separate check.
Confirm return service and last departures for your event’s finish time.

- The park strongly recommends métro for major events. Its 2026 event rate is $40 per day in designated lots; availability is limited, and off-island event parking may instead be sold through clicknpark with a Pierre-Dupuy Avenue shuttle from noon to midnight.
- Best option
- Jean-Drapeau métro for the direct island arrival; if driving is essential, reserve the festival's named off-island option or verify which park lot is operating for that date
- Avoid
- Assuming a normal park lot or road will stay open during a festival, or paying at one lot without checking the event footprint and the walk to the correct entrance

Parc Jean-Drapeau’s Espace 67 Information Centre has automated doors and unobstructed wheelchair access; most park washrooms are adapted. Marked accessible parking is free for qualifying permit holders. Wheelchairs at the Athletes’ Quarters, Beach and Aquatic Complex are for EMERGENCIES, not a guaranteed event-long loan. Accès 2/CAL free-companion entry is stated only for Jean-Doré Beach and the Aquatic Complex; confirm a concert/festival’s separate viewing and companion arrangements with its organizer.

Treat Jean-Drapeau métro as the front door, then use the festival map for the correct gate and first stage. Download the map and return itinerary before entering because the important navigation happens across the grounds, not inside one building.

There is no permanent seating bowl to optimize. Compare general-admission fields, premium zones, and any reserved accessible platforms on the current festival map; for îLESONIQ, the official schedule separates acts by stages including MIRAGE and Bell OASIS.

PositiveEvent-day character
The advantage is scale: the islands can hold multiple outdoor stages and festival services in the Espace 67 landscape. The tradeoff is that stage changes, meals, water, rest, and the final métro queue all need to be treated as part of the day.

The experience
- Best for: Large outdoor festivals where a Yellow-line métro station opens directly onto the site and the day is planned around several stages, long walking periods, and changing weather.
- Watch out for: A Parc Jean-Drapeau ticket does not identify one permanent room or seat map. Entrances, stages, premium zones, accessible viewing areas, and permitted items belong to the individual festival, while park roads and parking availability can change during major events.
Why the island works
- ✓Jean-Drapeau métro delivers directly to the island site without a downtown parking search.
- ✓The outdoor campus supports several stages and distinct festival zones instead of forcing every act through one fixed room.
- ✓Most park washrooms are adapted, the Information Centre has level automated-door access, and current îLESONIQ guidance identifies reserved reduced-mobility areas on its event map.
Plan for a festival campus
- ×The grounds are exposed to sun, heat, rain, and changing evening temperatures, with substantial walking between stages and services.
- ×Major-event parking is limited and traffic is heavy; the park can close roads or redirect cars to off-island lots.
- ×Jean-Drapeau station has elevators, but a fully step-free Yellow-line trip is not guaranteed from the connecting stations identified in the park's current accessibility notice.
