FanProof is a public venue guide. Most people simply browse it. This page explains what the site measures, what happens when you choose to contact us, and where another company’s policy applies.

01 · What the site measures
Traffic, interactions, and performance
FanProof uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits in aggregate. Vercel describes this service as cookie-free and anonymized. It can provide broad information such as pages viewed, referring sites, approximate geography, browser, operating system, and device category.
We also record a small set of named site interactions: when a venue guide or card is selected, when venue search or filters are used, when more directory results are requested, when a carousel or section link is used, and when an outbound ticket link, source link, correction link, fan-signal link, or venue-suggestion link is selected. Search events contain only the query length and result count—not the words typed. Ticket and source events describe the destination and page context for the click. They do not tell FanProof whether a ticket was purchased or whether a linked form was submitted.
When you arrive through a tagged campaign link, FanProof reads only standard campaign labels such as source, medium, campaign, and content. Sanitized labels can be kept in session storage for the current browser tab so the visit is still attributed after you move from the landing page to a venue guide. These labels describe the link—not the person who selected it.
FanProof may randomly assign the browser to one of two ticket-link layouts and save only that layout label in local storage. This keeps the experience consistent while we compare aggregate link impressions and clicks. The label is not an account, does not identify you, and is not used for advertising across other sites.
Vercel Speed Insights may measure loading and responsiveness through standard web-performance signals. We use this information to find slow or frustrating parts of the experience.
02 · What you choose to share
Fan signals and email
The “Share a Fan Signal,” “Suggest a venue,” and “Report outdated info” buttons open a form hosted by Tally. If you visit or submit that form, Tally processes the form visit and the information you choose to enter under its own privacy notice. FanProof can receive or access the submitted response so we can review the venue suggestion, correction, or fan insight.
If you email info@thefanproof.com, your email service and ours process the message and its addressing information. We use it to read and respond to your note and for relevant follow-up.
Please do not send sensitive personal, financial, medical, or account information through the Tally form or by email. FanProof does not need it to review a venue suggestion, correction, or fan signal.
03 · Other websites
A link changes the privacy context
FanProof links to venue, team, league, transit, image-license, social-media, and other third-party websites. When you follow one of those links, that site can collect information according to its own terms and privacy policy. FanProof does not control those sites.
A link is provided because it may help you plan or verify a detail. It does not mean FanProof is affiliated with that organization or endorses its privacy practices.
04 · How information is used
Improve the guide and answer people
We use aggregate site measurements to understand which guides are useful, diagnose performance, and prioritize improvements. We use fan submissions and email messages to respond, evaluate venue ideas, and inform editorial work when appropriate.
Vercel and Tally process information as service providers for the functions described above. The current FanProof site does not include user accounts, an advertising network, a data-broker integration, or a payment checkout.
Provider-held analytics data follows each provider’s policy. FanProof keeps emails and form submissions while they remain reasonably useful for replies, editorial review, abuse prevention, or basic recordkeeping. We do not currently use a fixed deletion schedule; Tally provides submission-retention controls.
05 · Your choices
You decide what to send
- Browse FanProof without creating an account or submitting a form.
- Leave the Tally form without sending a response, or omit information that is not required.
- Ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you previously sent directly to FanProof. Include enough context for us to locate it.
Privacy rights can vary by location and circumstance. We will review a request in light of the information available and any applicable requirements.
