Inside the Venue At A Glance

01

Mixed

Arrival & transportation

The stadium is embedded in campus and sits above several approaches. Walking distance, elevation change, and the correct gate all matter after parking.

02

Mixed

Seat & section strategy

Upper-deck views are broad but access is steep; lower corners and end zones can reduce climbing while changing the field angle. Check mobility needs before choosing by price.

03

Positive

Event-day character

The student section and campus setting carry the atmosphere, while lacrosse dates reveal a different but equally Maryland-specific use of the stadium.

FanProof Takeaway

Reviewed 8.8.26

Plan the permit or transit route first and match the seat to stair tolerance; SECU Stadium is much easier when the campus approach is not improvised.
