Road America: Venue layout, Road America · complete 2026 fan, parking, bridge and Wi-Fi plan. Use the original map for routes and visitor facilities.

Complete 2026 sheet preserves all 14 turns, bridges/tunnels, Main Gate and gates 3–6, general versus reserved parking, camping, shuttle stops, screens and limited free Wi-Fi zones. Although the download URL says 2022, the printed map says 2026 and PDF creation/modification is May 19, 2026. It is not a numbered-seat chart, live shuttle timetable or permission to park in paddocks, marked campsites or reserved spaces.

Need to Know

Best for
A Road America day spent moving among corners, grass areas and general bleachers: the owner says there is no assigned grandstand seating, so bring a chair and match walking, bridges, shuttles and parking to the chosen viewing plan.
Watch out for
Do not reserve general viewing areas overnight with chairs, ropes or EZ-Ups; the owner says items left out can be removed. The 2026 map’s blue circles are limited Wi-Fi zones, not property-wide coverage. Paddock and spectator vehicle access remain event-specific.
Good arrival window
Gate and on-track times vary by event, and the current XPEL Grand Prix page says its 2027 schedule is still coming. Arrive early enough to explore the grounds and recheck the exact event page before travel.
Main transit note
Road America is primarily a driving destination. The Main Gate on Highway 67, Gate 3, Gate 4 camping entrance, Gate 5, and Gate 6 serve different ticket, camping, competitor, and event uses.

Parking At A Glance

Expansive road-course parking with event-specific gates and internal vehicle rules

What to do
Use the current event map to pick a target corner and gate. For events that allow public vehicles around the grounds, park only in general non-camping areas and yield to racecars and pedestrians.
Best option
General parking is normally free with admission, but the FAQ reserves exceptions for selected events. Its designated rideshare/drop-off area is inside Gate 6 across from Registration; confirm event traffic directions and choose a pickup plan before leaving.
Avoid
The 2026 fan map excludes paddocks, marked campsites and reserved spaces from general spectator parking. Follow the event’s internal vehicle restrictions and actual shuttle operation; mapped stops and Wi-Fi zones do not promise continuous service or universal coverage.

Inside the Venue At A Glance

01

Mixed

Choose a corner before choosing a gate

A four-mile circuit turns the viewing zone into an arrival decision. The closest gate and parking area can matter more than the venue's central map pin.

02

Mixed

Carry-in picnics are allowed

Most general-admission viewing is unassigned around the course. Chairs and blankets support a roaming plan, while grandstands and hospitality products may have separate restrictions or credentials.

03

Positive

Paddock access changes by event

Many weekends allow fans into the paddock and around the property, but racecars always have the right of way. Cellular service can decline with attendance, so save tickets and the map offline.
