Watch out for
Lot J is open for general parking only on NASCAR Cup race day. Its climate-controlled shuttles loop every 30 to 45 minutes, so it is not interchangeable with the on-premise Lot D plan.

Best option
Lot D avoids a shuttle and is first-come. Lot J adds a complimentary shuttle on Cup race day and can be useful when directed there as on-premise lots fill.
Avoid
Do not enter a random gate or jaywalk from rideshare. The official plan requires riders to use the signalized Laburnum and Richmond-Henrico Turnpike crosswalk.
