Reviewed 10.14.26
- Arrive
- Reckling Park is Rice baseball’s venue, separate from First Community Stadium football. Rice’s multi-sport game-day guide explicitly lists baseball gates and parking opening 90 minutes before game time. Baseball box-office windows handle card-only sales, public/media will call and visiting-player passes. The 2026 baseball parking map distinguishes general and donor lots and the park entrance. The current parking page lists $12 single-game parking, with reserved benefits tied to the required pass; confirm the actual game’s price and accessible route. Football’s four-hour parking and gate-number instructions do not apply to this baseball timeline.

Giving levels and reserved colors require the appropriate permission; confirm actual game prices, available lots and accessible arrangements. This is a parking plan, separate from the existing baseball seating diagram.

Need to Know
- Watch out for
- Rice’s general athletics guidance prohibits ordinary re-entry and outside food/drink except one unopened water bottle up to one liter. Umbrellas and oversized bags are prohibited; confirm medical and unusual-item arrangements directly. Accessible locations require the appropriate accessible ticket. Restrooms are on Reckling Park’s main concourse. Use the existing baseball seating diagram and the separate 2026 parking plan for different purposes. The added official entrance photograph helps identify the brick facade and adjoining ramp, but does not guarantee the exact game’s accessible entrance or identify a numbered camera seat.

Reckling Park reflects Rice traditions and campus rhythms, but the smoothest visit starts with the school’s current game-day information rather than a generic ballpark address.
