Need to Know

Best for
Check the ticket category before buying: NCCU’s lawn ticket covers the track/practice-field lawn beside the stadium and does not include a stadium seat or stadium access. Lawn chairs are permitted only in that lawn area; its entry is Gate 1 on Lawson Street. Reserved sections require the corresponding ticket.
Watch out for
NCCU’s game-day guide requires clear bags smaller than 12 × 12 × 6 inches, with medical/baby exceptions, or wristlets/clutches smaller than 4.5 × 6.5 × 1 inch. Umbrellas and outside food/drinks are prohibited; cushion seatbacks must be smaller than 17 × 9.5 inches. The 2026 policy prohibits re-entry to the stadium, track/practice-field area, Tent City and Eagle Alley without purchasing a new ticket.
Good arrival window
Save your digital ticket to a mobile wallet or print it using NCCU’s official instructions before arriving. Check the specific game’s gate-opening and tailgate parking deadlines. The 2026 policy ends tailgating at the end of the third quarter and requires departure from campus within one hour after the game.

Parking At A Glance

What to do
NCCU’s game-day guide says all purchases, including parking, require a credit card, debit card or mobile payment. Tailgate only in designated Eagle Alley, Lincoln Street, Miller Morgan, The Pit or Tent City spaces. RV access to Eagle Alley requires both a game ticket and decal; other Eagle Alley/Tent City patrons need at least a lawn ticket.
Best option
For on-campus surface lots, bring the assigned visible hangtag: NCCU sells these as season packages, and the 2026 policy describes zone access rather than a reserved individual space. Confirm availability and the correct lot with the ticket office; a pass does not guarantee a specific parking space.
Avoid
Do not block traffic, set tents in front of Walker Complex entrances or assume a campus street is unrestricted parking. Show the tailgating permit at entry, meet the game-specific parking deadline, and clean up before leaving. Cooking must stay in attended grills with the required fire extinguisher; no ground fires or cooking inside tents.
