Need to Know
- Best for
- A Saturday-night visit to New Smyrna’s half-mile asphalt oval, or a separately planned World Series or Governor’s Cup event, with the actual grandstand or pit admission and race schedule checked before travel
- Watch out for
- No outside food, drinks, coolers or pets are permitted in the grandstands; service animals are admitted. Grandstand children 11 and under enter free with a paying adult under the published ticket policy. Pit entry has separate charges and requires a parent/legal-guardian minor release each race night, including a release for a stroller infant.

- What to do
- Use the New Smyrna Speedway entrance at SR 44 and CR 415 and follow staff to onsite parking. The track publishes free parking; verify the actual special-event notice before assuming any additional product or access arrangement.
- Best option
- Onsite parking for the grandstand visit. Primitive overnight parking is available only in designated areas during special events and requires advance registration; an ordinary race ticket does not establish an overnight reservation.
- Avoid
- Do not arrive expecting an unreserved overnight campsite or a shuttle/park-and-ride product. Keep your ticket or wristband if weather interrupts racing: the published policy says no refunds, with next-event validity only when cancellation occurs before half the first feature’s laps are complete. At or beyond halfway, the show counts as complete.
