A Michigan race day when the section-based lot color, ticket gate, inbound route, bag, cooler, tram availability, and one-way post-race exit are planned before reaching Brooklyn
Watch out for
Yellow Lots 8 and 9 are open Sunday only, and sections 43-69 must enter through Gate A. A familiar lot from another day may not work for the ticketed section or schedule.

The current 2026 fan-guide hours should not be treated as final 2027 times. The track advises arriving early and choosing the parking color before arrival; recheck the June 2027 weekend guide.
Main transit note
Blue Lots 3 and 4 serve the north side, Red Lot 14 is south across US 12, Sunday-only Yellow Lots 8 and 9 are southeast, and Green Lot 11 is southwest across Brooklyn Highway.

What to do
Find the seat section on the color-coded map first, then approach the recommended lot and ticket gate. Parking location controls the outbound route after the race.
Best option
Use free day parking in the recommended color: Blue for many even sections, Red for lower-number sections, Green for odd sections 27-41, and Sunday-only Yellow for Turn 1 odd sections 43-69.
Avoid
Do not cross Brooklyn Highway outside the pedestrian bridge from Green Lot, and do not assume the post-race route can be changed after parking.

Inside the Venue At A Glance

01

Mixed

Seat section chooses the lot color

Michigan's official map joins the seat, gate, lot, and tram decision. Make that four-part match before choosing the highway approach.

02

Mixed

Yellow parking is Sunday-only

Sections 43-69 must use Gate A. Other section groups have suggested gates tied to Blue, Red, Green, or Yellow parking, reducing the need to circle the long concourse.

03

Positive

Parking location sets the exit route

Free trams and ADA carts operate around the property, but service can stop in severe weather and becomes limited at peak times. The cashless track has no ATMs.
