Merion East Course · August 2026 U.S. Amateur course and spectator reference

Whole official one-page map names Merion Golf Club East Course and the August 10–16, 2026 U.S. Amateur. It shows holes 1–18 and the event’s spectator entrances, restrooms, concessions, medical points and hospitality. Hole numbers are not spectator seat numbers. This is a dated course/event reference; temporary facilities, access and walking routes are not promised for a future visit, and no spectator parking lot is assigned. Member hospitality requires the appropriate access. This is a real layout for the named event, supplied by USGA / 126th U.S. Amateur. Check your event’s current routes, viewing areas and access instructions before visiting.

Plan your visit

Arrival and logisticsBefore you goTransit, parking, timing and entry details

Best for: A member-arranged East Course visit or separately ticketed Merion championship. The 2026 U.S. Amateur map helps orient the East Course’s holes; its temporary entrances and services are a dated event reference.
Watch out for: The East Course is walking-only for normal play, with carts requiring written authorization for a documented health need; groups with guests require caddies. The March 2026 guest guide limits phone and smartwatch communication to parked vehicles and designated phone rooms. Event spectator policies are separate.
Good arrival window: For a hosted visit, agree check-in and tee time with your member host. For a tournament, check that edition’s public gates and session details. August 10–16, 2026 U.S. Amateur arrangements do not establish access for a future event.
Main transit note: Merion’s East Course and clubhouse are at 450 Ardmore Avenue, Ardmore. The West Course is a different destination at 300 Ellis Road, Haverford; do not stop there when your invitation or ticket specifies the East Course.

Parking difficulty

Parking options

Two separate course addresses; event-specific access

What to do: For an arranged East Course visit, use 450 Ardmore Avenue. Follow current championship parking directions when ticketed; the dated 2026 course map does not assign a spectator parking lot.
Best option: The confirmed East Course arrival or current championship transport assignment. The club’s directions distinguish this from the West Course parking at 300 Ellis Road.
Avoid: Do not use the West Course lot for an East Course visit. Ordinary East Course guests should change shoes and clothing in the locker rooms, not the parking lot.
