Need to Know

Best for
Icardo Center is CSU Bakersfield’s on-campus basketball, volleyball and wrestling venue. Athletics’ current game-day page lists 3,497 seats; the university venue-rental page separately gives a 3,800 maximum. Use the real 2026–27 men’s basketball section plan to distinguish reserved, courtside and general-admission areas. Older blue-court photos and speaking-event seating photographs are orientation references, not proof of your game’s exact allocation.
Watch out for
CSUB’s home-event box office has been cashless since fall 2025, and ages 3 and older require tickets. Bags are subject to search; a numerical bag-size limit was not verified. Outside food and drink are prohibited except water in personal containers, with no coolers. Re-entry requires a hand stamp obtained when exiting and shown on return.
Good arrival window
Approach Icardo Center via Roadrunner Drive from Camino Media on the south side of campus. Athletics directs spectators to adjacent Lot I, with free event parking from one hour before the event until it closes. Confirm your game’s doors and allow time for the walk, bag check and ticket scan.
Main transit note
Use the official CSU Bakersfield ticket link, open your actual ticket before arrival and confirm current door time. For accessible seating, bag or medical questions and ticket help, call 661-654-BLUE. A season-package listing’s administrative time is not a game’s tip-off time.

Parking At A Glance

What to do
The official 2026–27 season-ticket listing gives the campus address as 9001 Stockdale Highway, 8GYM, Bakersfield, CA 93311. For the physical arrival route, use Roadrunner Drive from Camino Media and the adjacent Lot I event-parking guidance. Arrange accessible seating and parking with 661-654-BLUE.
Best option
Use Lot I beside Icardo Center. CSU Bakersfield’s published free event-parking window starts one hour before the event and ends when it closes; arriving earlier or using other campus lots can require ordinary campus parking payment.
Avoid
Do not treat the free Lot I event window as all-day or all-campus parking. Follow current signs and restrictions. The 9001 Stockdale Highway campus address alone can route you away from the south-side Roadrunner Drive approach.
