Need to Know

Best for
Sacramento State football using the updated August 2026 Hornet Stadium chart. It distinguishes individual Hornet MVP seatbacks, premium padded bleachers, standard bleachers, east-side student/band areas and visiting section 203; match the ticket’s actual product.
Watch out for
Keep the published Hornet clear-bag requirements and digital ticket ready, and confirm water, medical needs, public opening and return rules for the actual football game. The displayed chairback/track photograph is explicitly labeled 2020–21, and the sunset game view is historical; neither proves completion of the 2026 temporary work. Hornet Field soccer, John Smith Field baseball, Shea Stadium softball and the Nest have separate seating and accessibility instructions. Do not use their sections or gates for football.

Best option
Prepay the actual general lot or match the VIP/tailgate credential near the Alumni Center and Gate 4; retain the current map.

College football game day

Hornet Stadium reflects Sacramento State traditions and campus rhythms, but the smoothest day starts with the school’s current game-day map rather than a generic stadium address.
