Need to Know

Best for
Galen Center hosts USC basketball and volleyball with different event layouts. Mobile tickets are required for USC home events; load them before reaching the arena. Kennedy Founders’ Club access depends on the event and the required club credential, so a general game ticket does not establish club access.
Watch out for
USC's clear-bag policy allows one clear bag up to 12 × 6 × 12 inches or a one-gallon clear storage bag, plus a hand-sized clutch. Backpacks, fanny packs and larger purses are prohibited.
Good arrival window
USC’s Galen game-day guide lists parking structures opening two hours before games. Confirm your actual basketball or volleyball event’s arena-door time, load mobile tickets, and check bags before leaving the car: Galen provides no bag-check storage for prohibited bags.
Main transit note
Galen Center is at 3400 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90089. USC recommends Metro E Line service to Jefferson/USC station adjacent to the arena. Check current Metro service and your last return connection; the campus parking plan shows nearby walking approaches.

Parking At A Glance

What to do
USC’s campus plan locates Galen Center and its surrounding structures and entrances. Pay by the posted Text2Park instructions and verify the vehicle plate and authorized parking period. USC’s broader parking page lists a four-hour daily option, but that general product does not override a special-event rate or reserved access.
Best option
USC identifies McCarthy, Figueroa, Royal Street and USC Shrine structures for Galen games, first come, first served. The Galen guide lists $20 via Text2Park, subject to higher special-event rates. Lots open two hours before games; confirm the selected event’s charge before paying.
Avoid
Do not treat a campus map label as a guaranteed event space. Follow garage signs and attendants, verify any event surcharge, and keep time for the walk from your selected structure. Galen has no bag-check storage if a bag is rejected.
