Need to Know

Best for
NDSU football and indoor concerts protected from Fargo weather. The new chart is specifically the Bison’s 2026 football configuration; concerts and other football events can arrange seats differently. NDSU begins FBS/Mountain West competition in 2026.
Watch out for
Match your event to its actual entrance and seating chart. The 2026 Bison map includes season-ticket price categories; those prices and any contributions are separate from a single-game purchase or another event’s seating.
Good arrival window
About 90 minutes early for NDSU football and 60 minutes for most touring events, unless the event page advises more time
Main transit note
Transportation services and rideshare must use the west side on Albrecht Boulevard. The official approach is via 18th Street North and 17th Avenue North; southbound access from 19th Avenue can be blocked until the west lots empty. Confirm MATBUS service against your event.

Separate event lots, football tailgating and west-side drop-off

What to do
Lots open about two hours before most events; NDSU football tailgate arrangements are separate. Rates vary by event, and lots close within one hour after the event.
Best option
Match the official 2026 general parking diagram to the current event’s permitted lot. Transportation services use Albrecht Boulevard on the west side.
Avoid
Do not approach rideshare from southbound Albrecht at 19th Avenue while west lots are clearing or assume a general event rate includes reserved tailgating.

Inside the Venue At A Glance

01

Mixed

Arrival & transportation

Large surface lots simplify orientation once chosen, but event type changes which entrances, tailgating rules, and traffic patterns apply.

02

Mixed

Seat & section strategy

Football and touring-show configurations use the large indoor volume differently; the event seating chart is essential for floor and end-stage productions.

03

Positive

Event-day character

The enclosed building makes a loud Bison football setting and removes the most severe North Dakota weather from the seat decision.

FanProof Takeaway

Reviewed 10.16.26

Confirm the event entrance and lot plan, keep football tailgating rules separate from concert guidance, and use the indoor advantage without underestimating the post-event surface-lot exit.
