Need to Know

Best for
The Betty hosts UND men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball beside the larger Ralph Engelstad Arena hockey venue. The operator lists 3,140 basketball seats and a separate general figure of 3,300. Use the Betty’s basketball or volleyball chart for your sport; their student, visitor and general-admission allocations differ.
Watch out for
The operator identifies the Betty’s west entrance and an additional connection through the Olympic Arena on the northeast side. The Betty’s elevator is in its northwest corner, and phone charging is in its lobby. Shared REA/BESC rules prohibit outside food and drink, coolers and recreational balls or pucks, and require entry screening. Confirm your bag and medical arrangements; hockey-only ticket and re-entry rules are not established for the Betty.

What to do
The Betty-specific drop-off point is on 10th Avenue West in front of its lobby. Follow event attendants for accessible parking and pickup. Hockey business shuttles and hockey-arena drop-off instructions do not establish transportation for Betty basketball or volleyball.
Best option
For the Betty, the operator lists limited general parking on arena property and basketball parking in the Wellness Lot to the east for $10. Champions Club areas have separate eligibility. Check the current DeMers Avenue/42nd Street detour notice and event signs before travel.
Avoid
Do not assume all UND lots are open to event visitors or use University Village business parking without permission. The operator says volleyball lots are unmonitored, but UND’s current page lists $10 Wellness parking for basketball and volleyball; confirm your actual event’s charge and enforcement.
