Need to Know

Best for
Compare the current official basketball chart’s upper and lower sections, chairback areas and Dawg Pound locations before purchasing. Prices printed on older charts are not a current checkout total. For ticket or accessible-seat questions, contact the Banterra Center ticket office at 618-453-2000.
Watch out for
SIU Athletics lists clear bags up to 12 × 6 × 12 inches, one-gallon clear bags and clutches up to 4.5 × 6.5 inches. Pack baby supplies in an allowed clear bag. Arrange medical-item screening with arena staff: the policy’s South Gate instruction names Saluki Stadium, so it is not a Banterra Center entrance instruction.
Good arrival window
Use the East Lobby for ticket sales and paid will-call, as shown on SIU’s arena entrance diagram. It separately marks the West Lobby for students, the south accessible entrance and the North Boydston entrance for John P. Cook Club access. Check your ticket’s entrance and current game notice; the diagram does not establish a universal door-opening time.

College basketball game day

Banterra Center reflects Southern Illinois traditions and campus rhythms, but the smoothest visit starts with the school’s current game-day information rather than a generic arena address.
